Raül Romeva no s'ha rendit i ha assistit al debat d'Eurovisió, com s'anomena el debat dels candidats a la Comissió Europea celebrat aquest dijous i organitzat per la Unió Europea de Radiodifusió (UER). Si bé Romeva és el candidat de l'Aliança Lliure Europea (ALE) a presidir l'executiu comunitari (spitzenkandidat), el republicà ha estat "exclòs" del debat. Això no vol dir que el seu espai polític no hagi tingut representació, ja que en l'última legislatura l'ALE va formar grup parlamentari amb els Verds Europeus —la candidata dels quals, l'alemanya Terry Reintke, sí que hi ha participat.
A les xarxes socials, l'ALE ha compartit diferents intervencions de Romeva fent referència als diferents temes que s'anaven tractant en el debat d'aquest dijous. A continuació, totes les intervencions del republicà a les diferents qüestions que s'han tractat: economia i treball, defensa i seguretat, clima i medi ambient, democràcia i lideratge, migració i fronteres i innovació i tecnologia.
