For yet another year, Catalonia's feminist movement takes to the streets as part of the strike and actions of 8-M, International Women's Day. The March 8th evening demonstration in Barcelona drew the largest crowd, with thousands of women taking to the streets of the Catalan capital. Despite the political and institutional noise around this date so marked by the feminist movement, the participants have united to cry out "against the racist and capitalist patriarchal cishetero system".
