Back to the Puerta del Sol, one of Madrid's most famous squares. But this time, there are even pro-independence flags. The reason: to show solidarity with Catalonia after today's large-scale Civil Guard operation against the 1st October referendum. Thousands of people have responded to the call from different organisations and left-wing platforms, including the Podemos (We Can) political party.
