From their original positions, which seemed so far apart, they've reached an agreement. Far-right party Vox will vote to invest an Andalusian coalition government with Juanma Moreno (PP) as president and Juan Marín (Cs) as his deputy. This brings the centre right (with the support of the far right) to power in the southern autonomous community after 36 years of centre-left PSOE.

The afternoon started with the signing of the agreement between the two parties that will form the new government, PP and Cs, by their leaders. Next, negotiators from PP and Vox picked up where they left off in yesterday's meeting, reaching an agreement for the votes needed to go ahead with the investiture as night fell.

News of the agreement leaked from the meeting as it was still in progress in Seville. All morning, PP sources had expressed optimism about the possibilities of reaching a solution.

Yesterday, Vox started the latest meeting presenting a document listing their draconian conditions. PP made a counteroffer this morning. Not all of these are among the 37 points of the agreement released this afternoon. For example, there is no reference to domestic violence legislation. They do however agree to overturn the Andalusian law on historic memory.

The agreement (below) also commits them to "complying with current legislation on immigration, avoiding all decisions which could foster a 'pull effect' and fighting the mafias which traffic people".

PP also agree to support bull-fighting and hunting, as Vox wanted, to merge Andalusia's international trade missions into Spain's own and reducing funding for the autonomous community's public media.

On Thursday, the speaker of the Andalusian Parliament, Marta Bosquet (Cs), will start talks with the different parties to formally propose the candidate for investiture.
