Far-right party Vox will pressure for the banning of anti-fascist groups in Spain, including left-wing Catalan pro-independence organisation Arran. The announcement was made in a press conference in Barcelona this Monday. They were presenting a series of actions they've undertaken, they say, to protect their constitutional rights and the safety and freedom of their members and those who attend their events. "We'll present a lawsuit to clarify what has happened at Vox events and against the attacks that have taken place", the spokesperson for Vox Barcelona, Jorge Buxadé, said.

"We demand the local security boards be convened, otherwise, we'll procede to legally denounce the neglect". They also asked for a meeting with the Spanish government's delegate to Catalonia, Teresa Cunillera.

The party announced that it has the "firm intention to stand for election. It won't be just a tent on Saturday or Sunday. It will be a political action". Although they haven't yet revealed any candidates for this year's elections, they say that "we'll certainly be in all the provincial capitals" and that "we'll try to be in as many municipalities as possible".

Asked about the current taxi strike in Barcelona, they replied that "Vox will offer a solution when it has the possibility to offer solution", although they want to "bring to light the conflict". "In both cases [taxis and rideshare firms] there are companies which give users a service. The law and service to the public have to be guaranteed".

After his party agreed to give its votes to invest the new president in Andalusia, Buxadé also said that "we don't have preferred partners. Our only preferred partner is our voter". That said, he emphasised that "we will never have partners from the far left nor separatists".
