The new documentary on the events of the Catalan independence referendum held on 1st October, shown on Catalan public television, will now be viewed at the European Parliament in Brussels. Catalan MEP Josep Maria Terricabras announced the screening in a video which he shared on his Twitter account, as the Catalan MEP returns to the European Parliament after the Christmas break, with the news that the parliament is to dedicate a day to the Catalonia issue on February 1st.

In his video, Terricabras, European representative for the Catalan Republican Left (ERC), says that the documentary screening will be part of a special session dedicated to Catalonia, on 1st February. The documentary will be able to be seen in original version subtitled in English. Further details of the February 1st session will be announced later, says the Catalan MEP.

Terricabras also celebrates the agreement reached between ERC's Marta Rovira and president Carles Puigdemont on the formation of the new Catalan government, while lamenting the fact that Catalan leaders are still being held prisoner in Spanish jails. "Decisive days continue to arrive, both for the present and future of Catalonia, both in Brussels and at home," he says.
