The house for Spain's new UN ambassador, Jorge Moragas, until recently Mariano Rajoy's cabinet chief, has 11 bedrooms (4 of them for house staff) and a squash court, the Spanish government has announced in response to a question in the Congress from ERC.

The property, near to Fifth Avenue and Central Park, has "storage rooms, 'installation rooms', an entrance hall, kitchen, small dining room, lounge, official dining room and an office". Moragas will also enjoy domestic service provided by the state, as in all the residences of Spain's permanent representatives.

Moragas left his role as Rajoy's cabinet chief, where he advised him on matters involving Catalonia, after the PP's failure in the Catalan election on 21st December last year, when they were left with only 4 out of the 135 seats.
