Jordi Sànchez, candidate to be president of Catalonia, has spoken with UK newspaper The Times, saying that "unity is fundamental". He also accused the courts of "applying political philosophy dressed up as law". He shared his comments, translated into Catalan, in a tweet from the account he opened for whilst he is in pretrial detention.
