The Supreme Court has rejected taking the preliminary question of Carles Puigdemont and Toni Comín's immunity to the EU Court of Justice (CJEU). Both of them had joined the appeal made by Oriol Junqueras, which had actually been accepted by the high court.
The Second Chamber of the Supreme Court, the one that has carried out the Catalan Trial, has refused asking Europe about the immunity of Puigdemont and Comín so that they can take their seats at the European Parliament because "they are not participating parties in this chamber".
