Catalan president Carles Puigdemont has today posted a tweet sharing the link where the polling stations for the 1st October referendum have been published. To find out where to vote, members of the public have to enter their DNI (National ID number), date of birth and postcode. On the next page, the website shows the name and address of their voting centre, as well as the district, section and table. Currently, due to the flood of visits, the website might be slow to load.

Among the polling stations there are civic centres in Barcelona which are city property. Some of the polling stations are the same as normal elections, but others are different, like the Department of Labour and Social Affairs of the Catalan government on passeig Taulat in Barcelona and primary care centres.

The Catalan government has announced the polling stations on the day set for this in the Referendum Law, 21st September and just hours after the arrest of a number of high-ranking officials and workers related to the vote.
