Hooters is a fast food chain that was founded in the United States in 1983 and today has 420 restaurants in 29 countries.

The dining choices are no different than other familiar fast-food restaurants: chicken wings, hamburgers, chips and beer are just some of its mainstays… So what makes Hooters different?

All the waitresses – and only women can work there – are scantily clad and show generous cleavage, which has sparked criticism about the company’s sexism.

Without going any further, the chain defines itself on its official website as a breastaurant, which is a blend of the words breast and restaurant.

The legal director of Hooters in Spain and Portugal, Víctor López, has confirmed that they will open a new restaurant this summer in the Vilamarina shopping centre in Viladecans, and that they are planning other openings in Spain in Madrid and Seville.

Thus, Barcelona is once again the target of another major chain. Recall that just a few months ago, it was the first European city to welcome an NBA Cafe.
