The players of Barça's first team of will wear "Barcelona" instead of their names on their shirts in their match this Sunday against Betis at Camp Nou (8:15pm), in homage to the victims of the terrorist attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils. It will be their first game of the new La Liga season.

The club's gesture has received the exceptional approval of the RFEF (Royal Spanish Football Foundation). The shirts will also include the hashtag #TotsSomBarcelona ("We're all Barcelona" in Catalan) on the front, next to the team logo, with the extraordinary authorisation of La Liga.
Besides the meaningful shirt design details, the stadium will observe a minute's silence before the match as a symbol of mourning in remembrance of all the victims and their relatives. The club has also announced that all its players in the other teams will wear a black armband in their matches this weekend.
