Another Copa del Rey final, and once again, there are images from off the field that tend to overshadow the football. First there was a group of National Police that encircled a group of Barça fans for carrying estelada flags and voicing pro-independence chants (link in Catalan). And now the security forces outside Seville's Benito Villamarín stadium have taken it to a new level.

A female Barça fan explained to Catalan television how the Spanish National Police controlling the entrances to the football stadium confiscated the t-shirt she was wearing which bore the slogan "Freedom political prisoners."

"I've worn that shirt everywhere," she said. "But here they wouldn't let me in with it, and I didn't bring any other, so I have to enter the stadium in just my bra."

Many other fans were also prohibited from bringing their messages into the stadium.
