A journalist was subjected to chauvinistic abuse while working on a live broadcast from today's large pro-Spain demonstration in Barcelona. During the live connection for Catalan public broadcaster TV3, loud chanting could be heard of the slogan "TV3, manipulative", a line which was repeated throughout the march every time a journalist went on air.

Translation: After finishing her live cross, they pursued her with calls of "whore" and "bitch". ALL attacks on the press are unacceptable!
However, as well the insults directed at the television network, another journalist explained in a Tweet that the Catalan journalist was also the target of sexist insults after completing her piece to camera, being called a "whore" and "bitch".
She was not the only TV3 employee to suffer verbal attacks. Other similar incidents have been recorded and in one case a journalist from the same media outlet was attacked with a pole, accompanied by insults and derision.
