Dozens of coaches are being organised throughout Catalonia for attendants to the unitary event of the Council for the Catalan Republic, the Catalan exile institution set up by Carles Puigdemont, in Perpinyà (Rosselló) on February 29th. The event will feature Puigdemont's - the president in exile - physical participation. It will be the first time he sets foot on Northern Catalonia after his exile, thanks to the immunity granted to him as an MEP.
The L'Alerta organisation has published an interactive map of the coaches programmed, with the collaboration of pro-independence groups
Catalan National Assembly (ANC) and Òmnium Cultural:
The event will take place at noon at the Parc de les Exposicions, an esplanade near the Palau de les Exposicions exhibition center in Perpinyà. MEPs Carles Puigdemont, Toni Comín and Clara Ponsatí, among others, will be speaking at the event. Over 50.000 people are expected to attend.
