Catalan vice president Pere Aragonès has announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus, and that he is homebound and recovering.

"Today I tested positive for COVID-19. At the moment I am in perfect health. I will be staying at home, following medical instructions, from where I will continue to work. We must act with the utmost prevention and responsibility", he said on Twitter.

Aragonès participated today in the online meeting of the Catalan government held early in the morning, but he did it from his office.

Also today it has been known that Catalan ombudsman, Rafael Ribó, has tested positive for coronavirus.
