The countdown for the Diada, Catalonia's National Day on 11th September has started, and the epicentres of the crowd are already almost full. The number of people signed up has just passed 400,000, which is more than the same time last year, when there were 342,000 who had registered.
This Sunday morning dozens of workers and technicians started the preparations to make sure that everything works correctly tomorrow. Around thirty people started working at 8am in plaça de Catalunya, Barcelona's famous central square, constructing the main stage, with the plan to have the majority of the logistical tasks completed by this evening.
