Youtube has this Tuesday closed the account of Spanish far-right party Vox (formerly at this link) without prior warning, the party has said. Announcing the news on Twitter, they said Youtube had given them no explanation for the decision to delete their channel. They see the move as a "serious attack against freedom of expression".

Their full tweet reads: "Youtube eliminates Vox's channel without any explanation. The decision to eliminate our channel is a serious attack against freedom of expression and a political party's broadcasting. We demand an explanation from Spanish Youtube and for our account to be enabled as soon as possible".
Earlier this month, following criticism, the website updated its policies to tackle misinformation and harassment on its platform.
