The members of the Spanish National Police Corps that took part in yesterday's operations in pursuit of ballot boxes, aiming to prevent the referendum, took a group photograph at the end of the day's events, in front of the boat they've been staying in during their deployment in Catalonia. The agents appear still in their uniforms, holding a small Spanish flag. The boat in the image is the Rhapsody, so the now famous image of Tweetie Pie is missing.
The photograph was published today on the Facebook page Policías Eurocops with the note "Proud of you and with THE SATISFACTION OF DUTY FULFILLED".
In its first two hours online, the post was shared almost 250 times and garnered numerous comments, the majority applauding the toughness of the repression operation and defending the "proportionality" of the attacks.
