The security forces have identified Iassín Ahram Pérez as one of the terrorists threatening Spain in a video broadcast by Daesh (Islamic State). He is the son of Tomasa Pérez Pedrers, a woman from Málaga whose family comes from Pozoblanco (Cordoba province, Andalusia) and decided to go to Syria to join the jihad. In the video, he is called Abu Lais Al Qurdubi (Al Qurdubi meaning ‘the one from Cordoba’ in Arabic).

According to sources within the anti-terrorist fight, he is the man who speaks Spanish in the video, in which the group praises the "brothers" that carried out the attacks in Catalonia. They also threaten Spain that, if they don't withdraw from the international coalition fighting Daesh in Syria and Iraq, they will continue to attack Spanish territory.

In video entitled "The conquest of Barcelona", two terrorists speaking Spanish appear, although one of them is difficult to understand. "The war against us will continue until Judgement day", says one of the jihadists, the one identified as Iassín Ahram Pérez. He appears wearing a military uniform and with his face uncovered.

This man, who is under an international arrest warrant, is, according to the same sources, the oldest of six brothers, all of whom have been in Syria since 2014 with their mother.
