Last-minute correction by Spain's Interior ministry on the destinations of the Catalan ministers. After having announced their dispersal around all the prisons of the autonomous community of Madrid, they have changed plans and announced that all the male ministers will go prison in Estremera and all the female ministers to the women's prison in Meco.
The ministers have already started to be moved to the prisons in Civil Guard vans, after learning the sentence from judge Carmen Lamela of prison without bail pending trial for vice-president Oriol Junqueras and ministers Jordi Turull, Josep Rull, Raül Romeva, Joaquim Forn, Carles Mundó, Dolors Bassa i Meritxell Borràs.
Santi Vila, meanwhile, will spend tonight in prison, "in solidarity" he says, but tomorrow he will be released on payment of the 50,000€ fine the judge has imposed.
According to the original decision, only Junqueras and Forn were to go to Estremera.
