Catalan deputies Oriol Junqueras, Raül Romeva, Josep Rull, Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Turull, all in pretrial detention in Lledoners, and president Carles Puigdemont, in exile in Belgium, will tomorrow present a request to the UN Human Rights Committee for it to denounce the violation of their political rights as members of the Parliament of Catalonia.
To explain the requests they'll present, there will also be a press conference held on Thursday by the international lawyer working on the case, Nico Krisch; CUP deputy Maria Sirvent, ERC's secretary general, Marta Rovira, and Puigdemont himself.
Also present at the event will be ERC's parliamentary spokesperson, Anna Caula, JxCat's parliamentary spokesperson, Albert Batet and Ernest Benach, representing the former speakers of the Catalan Parliament.
