Tickets for president Carles Puigdemont's talk at the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) in Geneva have "long since run out", Comité Katalonien, an organisation which shares information about Catalonia in German, has announced.

They also say that media "from half of Europe" are asking about attending the appearance. Spanish prosecutors, instead, have asked the relevant authorities, including Interpol, as to whether Puigdemont could be arrested. The Swiss government has released a statement saying it does not carry out extraditions for political reasons.

The festival will this Sunday show a French documentary about the Catalan independence referendum and events following the 'yes' victory called Catalogne: l’Espagne au bord de la crise de nerfs (Catalonia: Spain on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown). The documentary will be part of the festival's closing session, to be followed by the discussion with the president.
