Finnish deputy Mikko Kärnä slapped acting Spanish PM, Pedro Sánchez, in a tweet, for his refusal to meet with Òmnium's president, Jordi Cuixart, who has now been almost two years (661 days today) in pre-trial detention in Lledoners prison.

Kärnä has been blunt: "Catalonia's independence will not go away mr. @sanchezcastejon even if you try to close your ears and eyes from it. Why are you afraid to meet @jcuixart? Spanish democracy is in heavy crisis because of your incompetence. You rather wish to negotiate with far-right falangists?"

Cuixart has written a letter to Sánchez asking for an interview with him, but Spain's acting PM has totally refused to do so.
