After today's vote to declare independence in the Parliament of Catalonia, euphoria has burst out in the streets of Barcelona. Those gathered in passeig Pujades, at the gates of the Ciutadella park that contains the Parliament building, opened bottles of cava sparkling wine and threw firecrackers.
