In an interview with Catalan News, Junts per Catalunya (Together for Catalonia) candidate Aurora Madaula questions whether Spain will respect the election results on 21st December, and discusses whether Carles Puigdemont would be able to act as president, should he be re-elected. And, with just a week to go until the beginning of the election campaign, parties are holding events presenting their tickets, but Puigdemont, who leads the Together for Catalonia list, and other candidates cannot take part because they are in Belgium or in jail. Today most of the ministers that are in preventive detention have presented appeals to be released on bail. The Spanish Supreme Court has taken over their cases, and it’ll have to make a decision on their imprisonments.
