Right-wing parties in Spain (PP, Cs and far-right Vox) want Catalonia stripped of self-government again because they think politicians are plotting a new attempt at independence. Controversy is mounting over the Catalan government's attitude to protesters blocking a motorway on Saturday for 15 hours. And that's after President Torra's calls to show as much determination as the Slovenian people to achieve independence caused their own controversy.
