Catalan president, Quim Torra, has today ended a two-day trip to Slovenia where he met the President, the Speaker of the Slovenian Parliament and several MPs. The international silence on Catalonia is over, he said. Torra also gave a conference in Ljubljana's town hall where he said Spain’s Constitution is a cage for the hopes of Catalans. Meanwhile, the Catalan police has become entangled in a controversy over the heavy-handed tactics used yesterday against antifascist demonstrators protesting the far-right Vox party.
