Spain wants to extradite Carles Puigdemont, and five other leaders abroad, for rebellion and misuse of public funds relating to last year's referendum. But the Supreme Court admitted to Germany that it cannot prove that public money was spent. Also today, and in the same Spanish court, a former Catalan MP said today to the judge prosecuting pro-independence leaders that her sentence has already been written – the real trial will be in an international court.
