The first months of 2018 have shown that the Catalan economy is in good health. This, according to the latest unemployment figures. The jobless rate dropped to 12.1% by the end of March, a figure not seen since the beginning of the recession in 2008. This is the largest decrease in the first quarter in 13 years. This coincides with positive predictions for the economy released today by Barcelona’s Chamber of Commerce.
