The president of Catalonia left Germany's Neumünster prison this afternoon. He was released on bail, following a court ruling that was a major blow to the Spanish judiciary, as Germany did not accept the charges of rebellion. In his first public appearance after being released, Puigdemont demanded his colleagues, imprisoned in Madrid, also be freed and said that is was a disgrace for there to be political prisoners in Europe.
