Anna Gabriel, a former Catalan deputy for the anti-capitalist CUP party, will not appear before the Spanish Supreme Court tomorrow. She refuses to testify in Madrid because she thinks she is being politically persecuted for her pro-independence ideas, and will ask Switzerland for asylum if Spain demands her extradition.
